Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a 2-mercaptothiazoline type sulfur-containing compound in high yield, by adding dividedly or continuously an aminoalkylsulfuric ester dissolvd in an aqueous solution of alkali hydroxide to carbon disulfide under reflux to give a reaction product, followed by subjecting the reaction product to ring closure at a specific temperature.
