Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the heat conducting performance in boiling heat transfer by a method wherein a porous layer equipped with communicating holes are formed in an uneven manner, in which the diameters of the communicating holes in concavities and convexities are different, over a heating surface about the captioned heat transfer material used in boiler or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The porous layer 2 having the communicating holes between respective sintered aluminum alloy powder particles is formed over the surface of the heat transfer material 1. After that, the surface of the porous layer 2 is formed by rolling in the uneven manner, in which the diameters of the communicating holes in the convexities 3a are larger than that in the concavities 3b. Bubbles due to the evaporation of liquid are produced actively at the convexities 3a of the communicating holes with larger diameters and the evaporation is suppressed at the concavities 3b of the communicating holes with smaller diameters. The concavities are mainly served as influx passages of liquid to the convexities. The manner as described above results in activating the bubble generation cycle.
