CONSTITUTION: Liquid 3 such as oil is filled in a hollow cylinder 1 of small thickness. Plugs 4, 4' are inserted into the shaft holes of side plates 2, 2' and tightened thereon. The rigidity of the cylinder 1 is thus increased. The cylinder 1 is thereafter mounted on a lathe to turn the outside of the cylinder 1 without a chatter.
