Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed stable voltage to a load without applying modification to construction of an engine, by providing a control circuit that detects overvoltage of an engine driven generator to the load and changes operation of an ignition device in the engine. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 3 is charged by voltage of a generating coil 1 and discharged by a thyristor 4a, and a spark plug 7 is fired by an ignition coil 6a. A firing circuit A is ceased its operation by electric conduction of a thyristor 19 or stop switch 10. Voltage of a coil 11 in a generator is divided to charge a capacitor 15 through a transformer 13 and rectifier circuit 14. When an engine increases its speed and speed of the generator goes up abnormally high to raise output voltage of the coil 11, terminal voltage of the capacitor 15 rises to electrically conduct a Zener diode 16 at a prescribed level, then the thyristor 19 is electrically conducted to stop operation of the firing circuit A. In this way, an abnormal rise of output voltage of the generator can be prevented.
