Abstract
PURPOSE:To recognige a bearing load accurately and to monitor it all the time, by providing an oil-film pressure sensor which measures oil-film pressure at >=4 points on a bearing slide surface, a temperature sensor which measures the metal temperature of the circumference of the bearing slide surface, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a bearing slide surface 9, at least four perforated pressure measurement hole 10 having about 2-5mm. diameters are provided, and at the terminal of an extended pressure propagation hole 11 communicating with the pressure measurement hole 10, a pressure sensor 12 is provided. In a Babbit metal 5 near the pressure measurement hole 10, a temperature sensing (sensor) element 7 is buried. Thus, oil-film pressure is detected by the pressure sensor 12 at >=4 points and the deviation of a bearing is grasped accurately from the pressure difference DELTAp; and information from the oil-film pressure sensor and that on bearing metal temperature are used in combination to know a bearing load more accuratly, thereby performing monitoring all the time.
