Abstract
PURPOSE: To minimize the size of the structure of cooling apparatus, by providing a jacket on the wall surface forming a combustion chamber of cylinder head and materializing a liquid cooling status by means engine lubricant.
CONSTITUTION: When a cooling pump 7 is actuated, lubricating oil stored in a reservoir 8 is absorbed and sent forcibly into a jacket 9. The lubricating oil flows from the entrance into the inside of the jacket 9, and flows upward while, cooling the right side of a guide wall 27, namely the circumference of an exhaust port 17 and the outer surface of a cylindrical wall 29. Furthermore, the oil passes around the upper portion of the guide wall so as to cool the left side, namely, the circumference of an intake port 16, and flows out of the exit. The lubricating oil heated within the cylinder head reaches a radiator 10 in order to be cooled and is returned into the reservoir 8.
