Abstract
PURPOSE: To operate safely and efficiently a turbine driven by low boiling point medium, by mounting a sea water temperature detector in a sea water circulation pump and by controlling the rotational speed of the said pump by a temperature signal from this detector and a load signal from a turbine load detector.
CONSTITUTION: An evaporator level controller 10 is set in an evaporator 1 to constantly maintain the water level of liquefied low boiling point medium of the evaporator 1 at a set level. Moreover, a load signal converter 12 for a by-pass valve is fixed in a turbine by-pass valve 8. It receives a signal from a load detector 13 to switch the turbine by-pass valve so that discharge quantity of low boiling medium entering a turbine 4 is controlled to fit a turbine load.
