Abstract

PURPOSE:To decode a delta modulation signal adaptively given for time interval, by taking correlativity between an incoming digital signal and a digital signal given previously and adjusting the sampling interval according to the output of correlativity. CONSTITUTION:A digital signal incoming from a terminal 1 is applied to a buffer circuit 3 and outputted from a buffer circuit 3 with an output of a sampling interval adjusting circuit 9. The output signal is delayed for one sampling interval at a shift register 7 and the correlation with the output of the buffer 3 is taken at a correlater 8. The output of the correlator 3 is applied to the adjusting circuit 9, the sampling interval is made shorter without correlation and longer with correlation. The output of the buffer circuit 3 is decoded through an integrator 4 and a low-pass filter 6.
