Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a simultaneous production of dried cold air and cold water by a method wherein heat exchanging elements for air conditioning unit are piled in such a manner as they are alike to a number of cardboards piled up with each other, flow passages in the elements are separated to cause the water and the air to be oppositely faced to each other so as to perform a heat exchanging operation.
CONSTITUTION: A number of liner members 15 and core members 16 are arranged in the first and second flow passages in the heat exchanger element A and the dotted lines 22 are formed by cardboard like material of thermo-plastic synthetic resin films crossed to each other. Closed space 13 is formed for one tubular opening 14 in such a manner as the air and the water passed through the two tubular passages 17 are not mixed with each other. Water in the tank 31 is dispersed from the connection pipe 6 with a circulation pump 32. In turn, the air is transported to the connection port 7 via supply/discharging nozzle 34 under an operation of the blower 33, the water and the air are oppositely contacted to each other in the tubular passages in the elements A, the air is discharged out to the surrounding air via nozzle 34' and the water is circulated again to the tank 31.
