Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the decoder circuit of a channel selector by using a BCD counter for setting the address of a memory circuit and by using BCD codes as the data of a latch circuit which loads data to this address-setting BCD counter. CONSTITUTION:A phase comparator 2 compares the output of a local oscillator 4 with the output obtained by frequency-diving the output thereof by a programmable frequency divider 5 and the output of the comparator 2 is applied to a local oscillator 4 via a low-pass filter 3. To the programmable frequency divider 5, a memory circuit 6 which supplies frequency-division ratio data of a reception channel is connected and to the address setting circuit 7 of the memory circuit 6, the 1st BCD counters 21 and 22 and the 2nd BCD counter (latch) storing ten-key inputs temporarily are also connected. Consequently, a decoder circuit for the ten-key inputs during direct channel selection is eliminated and the simple circuitry makes direct channel selections.
