Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the noise and energy due to the suction air from a valve port by allowing a valve body to be opened and closed automatically according to existence of the plate work loaded on a punching plate.
CONSTITUTION: When a plate-shaped work 14 covers a part of a table (punching plate) 13 and does not cover all punching holes, the small chamber 22 on the part described above communicates to the outside air through punching holes. Therefore, even if a blower operates for reduction of the negative pressure, air flows into the small chamber 22 continuously, and the pressure decreases in the small chamber 22 is little. Therefore, a valve piece 30 is shifted against the spring force of a pressing spring 31 by the negative pressure suction force from the blower, and closely contacted onto the valve seal 29 of a valve port 24. Thus, the valve device 28 is closed.
