Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture an inexpensive heat insulating door excelling in heat insulation, mechanical performance without press-forming by a method wherein a synthetic resin sheet is attached tightly to a molded heat insulating layer and a decorative frame is fixed on the peripheral side.
CONSTITUTION: Synthetic resin sheets 11a, 11b are attached tightly to the inner sides of an upper 2 and a lower die 3 by vacuum forming processing and the peripheral edge parts are provided along the side parts 2a, 3a of the inner peripheries of the upper 2 and the lower die 3. Then, parting surface are joinned to hold the die 1 aslant. Hot molten resin is injected from a gate 8 into a cavity 7 and expanded to form a heat insulating layer 13 and the outer peripheral surface is coated integratedly with synthetic resin sheets 11a, 11b. After the heat insulating layer 13 is cooled and cured, the upper die 2 is released from the lower one 3 to take the heat insulating layer 13 out of the diel.
