PURPOSE:To have a correct grasp of the state of discharge processing to serve for good control of the performance of discharge processing by aquiring sensing signals of the state of each discharge processing every time a new processing voltage is impressed and in such a manner sensing the state very accurately. CONSTITUTION:The level of voltage B at the terminals of a capacitor 3 which varies according to the rectangular pulsed voltage A is, upon being changed to a certain level by voltage dividing resistances 11, 12, compared with threshold voltages E2, E3 at comparators 16, 17 and further upon differentiated by a differential circuit composed of a capacitor 13 and a resistor 14 is compared with the threshold voltage E1 at another comparator 15, and during these processes as change of level, differentiation, and processing of each threshold value digital signals are extracted necessary for logical processing after the voltage B. Correlation in magnitude of the voltage B after level changing to the voltages E2 and E3 allows sensing of the state of each discharge processing such as normal discharge, out of discharging, shortcircuiting and abnormal discharge, and the result obtained is utilized for control of discharge processing.
