Abstract

PURPOSE:To obstruct flowing of more current than necessary in an electromagnet and to prevent burning down of the electromagnet and destruction of an electromagnet driving circuit by a method wherein a driving signal is supplied to the electromagnet being limited only for the allowable driving period, and a reset signal is made to be generated when the signal is supplied exceeding the period thereof. CONSTITUTION:When the driving signal AS is outputted from an I/O circuit 3, the signal AS is supplied to a switching transistor 7 passing through an NAND circuit 5, and the electromagnet 8 is driven by flowing of current only for the prescribed period to be decided by an output pulse length TAS. When the signal AS is normal, because output action of the signal AS finishes surely within the allowable driving period TBS set by a monostable multivibrator 9, an abnormal signal DS is not outputted from an NAND circuit 11. When the signal AS is outputted continuously after the lapse of the period TBS, the signal DS is outputted from the circuit 11, a reset signal ES is generated consequently from a monostable multivibrator 12 to reset a CPU2. Accordingly putting out of the signal AS from the circuit 3 is made to stop.
