Abstract

PURPOSE: To continue the warning operation even after the vibration are ended so that automatic restoration can be made after a preset time by providing a time constant circuit in the drive circuit of a vibration sensitive unit.
CONSTITUTION: A power source 2 is connected with a vibration sensitive unit 1 of rocking type so that pulse signals corresponding to the vibrations are generated when the unit 1 senses the vibrations of a preset level. A relay 3 is connected with the power source 2 and is constructed such that it is operated by a drive circuit 4. This drive circuit 4 is equipped with a time constant circuit 4a and is operated by the pulse signals from the unit 1. As a result, if the unit 1 is operated, the relay 3 is operated through the circuit 4 so that a signal lamp 6, which has been generating the normal signals before an earthquake takes place, is replaced by an emergency signal lamp 5 which is then lit in red. This emergency lamp lighting operation is continued for a preset time period even after the earthquake stops by the action of the circuit 4a thereby to continue the warning operation and can automatically restore its initial operation.
