Abstract

PURPOSE:To agitate the transport sludge without sticking to the inner wall surface of a casing, when mixing and transporting adhesive sludge while exchanging heat, by rotating two hollow shafts equipped with hollow discs which rotate in different speed respectively. CONSTITUTION:A casing 1 equipped with a jacket for heat exchange 4 at its bottom is set on a inclined supporting bed 3, and two hollow rotating shaft 6, 6' are arranged in parallel at the central part to the longitudinal direction of the case 1, and two gears having different numbers of teeth respectively are fixed in front of the shafts 6, 6'. Adhesive powdery substance or highly adhesive sludge are charged into the casing 1 and agitated by rotation of shafts 6, 6' and mixed and transported by notched hollow discs 11, 11', which are arranged with a constant distance to said shafts and partially transpassing each other. Thus, the sludge is efficiently mixed and transported without sticking to the inner wall surface of the casing 1 while exchanging heat for cooling or heating between the medium in the jacket 4.
