CONSTITUTION:An ink donor sheet 1 fed from a roll 2 is superposed on a recording sheet 3, and thermofusible ink coated on the sheet 1 is transferred to the sheet 3 between a heat sensitive head 4 and a back roller 5. Subsequently, both are fed to exhaust rollers 6, 7 the sheet 1 is separated from the sheet 3 by abruptly altering the direction of the sheet 1 along the roller 7, and is wound on a takeup roller. It is preferred to reduce the diameter of the roller 7 smaller than that of the roller 6.
