PURPOSE:To use a tubular conductor layer of pressure-tight structure for communication by protecting the circumference of a center optical fiber assembly by a pressure-tight internal conductor pipe, and by covering it with an insulator of PE, an external conductor layer and a sheath PE layer. CONSTITUTION:Around a center tensile-strength body 8, several optical fiber units 9 each obtained by assembling or stranding several optical fiber cores are assembled or stranded and the section is made circular by an interposing buffer layer 10.
