Abstract
PURPOSE:To shape pulse trains, by generating a comparison pulse with slightly narrower in width than a normal pulse, being triggered with pulses inputted having various widths, and making the pulse width narrower than the comparison pulse equal to the pulse of comparison pulse. CONSTITUTION:A comparison pulse generator 4 connected to a circuit to which pulse trains (d) with different width input to an input terminal 7, is operated at a leading edge of the pulse signal (d) and produces a comparison pulse (e) with slightly narrower than that of a normal pulse d1. The pulse (e) is applied to an emitter of a transistor (TR)5. The pulse (d1) with wider width than the pulse (e) is taken as an output signal (g) as it is, and when a pulse (d2) with narrower width than that of the pulse (e) is inputted, the TR5 is conductive and a pulse f corresponding to e-d2=f is generated and it is added with the (d2) to be a pulse train (g). From the collector of the TR5, the detection signal (f) indicating the presence of narrow pulse is outputted. Thus, the pulse width can be corrected with a simple circuit to realize the duty ratio.
