Abstract

PURPOSE: To absorb solar heat effectively in a liquid charged in a second heat collecting chamber formed around a first heat collecting chamber, by transmitting solar rays directed onto the inner surface of the first heat collecting chamber to the second heat collecting chamber, and providing a layer of black body in the second heat collecting chamber.
CONSTITUTION: High-temperature solar rays converged by a lens 1-1 is directed at an acute angle deep into a narrow space formed inside a first heat collecting chamber 4-1 and reflected mutually on the inner surface thereof. Finally, the solar rays transmitted through the first heat collecting chamber 4-1 is radiated onto a liquid (for instance, water) 6-2 filled in a second heat collecting chamber 9-1 which is formed around the first heat collecting chamber 4-1. Heat of the solar rays is then absorbed by a layer 5-1 of a black body disposed on the inside of the second heat collecting chamber 9-1, and thereafter heat is transmitted to the liquid 6-2. Here, arrangement is such that the end portion of an incoming-liquid-level maintaning 8-3 and an outlet port of an outgoing-liquid-level maintaining pipe 8-4 are both positioned at upper portions in the second chamber 9-1, so that it is enabled to always fill the chamber 9-1 with liquid 6-2 and to absorb solar heat at a high efficiency.
