Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled instantaneously curable, high-quality composition stable on long-term storage, by compounding a radically polymerizable monomer composed mainly of (meth)acrylate with a pyrazolone compound as a cure accelerator and an organic peroxide polymerization initiator.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) a radically polymerizable monomer compose mainly of an acrylate and/or a methacrylate (e.g. methyl acrylate) with (B) 3-pyrazolone, 4-pyrazolone, 5-pyrazolone and/or their derivatives as a cure accelerator, and (C) an organic peroxide polymerization initiator (esp. a hydroperoxide such as cumene hydroperoxide). The amounts of the component (B) and the component (C) are usually 0.01W10(wt)% and 0.01W10%, pref. 0.1W5% and 0.1W7%, based on the component (A), respectively.
