Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an enclosed type noiseless and highly efficient mixer by providing a cylinder using both oil and air pressures to the upper end of the hopper of the mixer and providing an oil-air balance valve in connection with the said cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An oil- and air-pressure using type cylinder 20 provided with an air chamber 23 and an oil pressure chamber 24 for elevation are provided to the upper end of a hopper through which materials to be mixed are supplied in the mixer. Also, an oil-air balance valve 30 is provided with the interposition of a plunger 34 in an axially slidable manner between an oil pressure control chamber 32 and air control chamber 33 through an oil pressure circuit 44. By using the oil- and air-pressure using type cylinder 20, the oil-air balance valve 30, and an air tank 52, the vertical movement of the floating weight is controlled. Thus, mixing can be performed with good efficiency because proper lowering force is applied to the floating weight.
