Abstract

PURPOSE: To synchronize the delay of a table driving shaft due to servo errors at the time of rise and fall of e.g. a hobbing machine by delaying the rise and fall times of a hobbing shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The servo errors occur due to impossibility of controlling the transient state at the driving and stopping of a table driving shaft because time constant TS and position loop gain KP have to be set at the maximum allowable conditions. In order to remove said servo errors, a control program is prepared so that rising and falling speed H at the time of driving and stopping the hobbing shaft is increased or decreased stepwise, and a speed F of the table driving shaft is synchronized with said stepped speed and a desired rotation thereof is obtained. In this way, the hobbing shaft and the table driving shaft are synchronized.
