Abstract

PURPOSE:To give an operation guidance for preventing influences of a fault by computing a tolerant time when the same influence results are obtained by using a tree in case that faulsts are detected. CONSTITUTION:A fault detector 2 is equipped with an alarm monitoring device 21, a plant data display device 22, a plant equipment monitoring device 23, and a nuclear reactor fault detector 24 and when every device detects a fault, a trigger signal R is sent as an interruption signal to an information processor 4 via an OR circuit 7. Then, a plant fault relation tree stored previously in an auxiliary memory is used to analyze the cause of the fault and to estimate its influences. If faults are detected, the tolerant time when the same influence result as to each fault is obtained is computed by using the tree in the auxiliary memory. Consequently, a fault with the shortest tolerant time is extracted and an operation guidance for preventing influences of faults is given.
