Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain to speed up the titled treatment and to prevent aging of a treating liquid, in subjecting an Al containing zinc hot dipping steel plate to zinc phosphate treatment, by keeping an Al concn. in the treating liquid to a specific value or less by continuously replenishing NaHF2 and KHF2. CONSTITUTION:An Al containing zinc hot dipping steel plate is treated by a zinc phosphate treating liquid. In this case, an Al elution amount per a unit area of the steel plate eluted in the treating liquid is adjusted to 0.2X10<-3>-1.0X10<-3>mol/ m<2>. Then, 0.2X10<-3>-1.0X10<-3>mol/m<2> of NaHF2 same to the eluted Al mol amount and 0.4X10<-3>-2.0X10<-3>mol/m<2> two times of the eluted Al mol amount are continuously replenished to said treating liquid. Then, Al ion in the treating liquid is precipitated and removed as NaK2AlF6 and an Al ion concn. in the treating liquid is held to 50ppm or less.
