Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the titled thin steel plate high in (111) density in a rolled plane, by cold working a hot rolled steel plate containing Al without annealing and with the rolling reduction being prescribed, while annealing it at a prescribed temperature for a prescribed period, then cold working it with the rolling reduction being below a prescribed value, and subsequently subjecting it to recrystallization annealing. CONSTITUTION:The hot rolled steel plate containing 0.08-5%, and more specifically 0.1-0.4% of Al, without being annealed, is cold rolled with the rolling reduction being 20% or more and more particularly 30-45%. Then the cold rolled steel plate is annealed briefly within 10min at a temperature of 700-1,000 deg.C to be decomposed into ferrite, carbon and nitrides. The annealed steel plate is again cold rolled with the rolling reduction being 40% or more, and is subjected to recrystallization at a temperature of 700-1,000 deg.C within 10min. Consequently, a ferritic stainless thin steel plate excellent in the deep workability can be obtained.
