Abstract
PURPOSE:To operate the winding type induction motor safely even when a power supply is switched or when instantaneous service interruption by properly switching impedance elements each inserted between stator winding and the power supply and to rotor winding by means of contactors. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply is swithced to another power supply 8 from a normal power supply 4, a supply contactor 5 is opened, and a motor 3 is separated from thr normal power supply 4. The first and second contactors 7, 11 are opened, and the first and second impedance elements 6, 10 are inserted. The supply contactor 9 of another power supply 8 system is closed, and the power supply is switched. In this case, there is slight shock when the supply contactor 9 is closed because the first and second impedance elements 6, 10 are inserted to the motor 3. After a fixed time passes, the first and second contactors 7, 11 are closed, and the power supply is swithced completely.
