Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve starting torque efficiency and to prevent vibration or torque pulsation by a method wherein the division between a permanent magnet and an auxiliary magnetic pole is located a half slot pitch or more near to the auxiliary magnetic pole from the center of a field magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of an iron yoke 9 is provided with permanent magnets 8 and 81 and with auxiliary magnetic poles 10 and 101 made of such magnetic substances as iron whose permeability is higher than the reverse permeability of the permanent magnets 8 and 81. The permanent magnets 8 and 81 are located in places where the armature magnetomotive force exerts a demagnetizing effect while the auxiliary magnetic poles 10 and 101 are located in places where the same exerts a magnetism enhancing effect. The permanent magnets 8 and 81 are arranged side by side with the auxiliary magnetic poles 10 and 101, all four jointly completing a field poles lineup. The divison point between a permanent magnet 8 or 81 and an auxiliary magnetic pole 10 or 101 staggers from the field system magnetic pole center C by a half or more of a slot pitch of an armature 1 towards an auxiliary magnetic pole 10 or 101.
