Abstract

PURPOSE: To always control the fuel injection amount of a fuel injection type engine to optimum value irrespective of the variation in the suction air density or the like by correcting the fuel injection control signal in response to the displaced amount when the correlation among an engine rotating speed, suction air vacuum and throttle valve opening is displaced.
CONSTITUTION: The signals from a rotating speed sensor 8, a suction air vacuum sensor 9 and a throttle sensor 10 are inputted to a controller 7, and the control signal corresponding to the optimum fuel injection amount and the target opening of the throttle valve 5 in experiment responsive the present operating state are calculated via the respective maps from the first and second memories 11, 12 in combination of the rotating speed signal and the suction air vacuum signal. Then, the target opening of the throttle valve 5 is compared with the actually measured opening of the sensor 10, the correction coefficient is calculated for the control signal in response to the deviation, thereby correcting the control signal. This correction control signal is outputted to a fuel regulator 6, and the fuel injection amount from the regulator 6 is suitably corrected and controlled.
