Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the direct welding of a nozzle box to a turbine shell in a steam turbine having two 180° nozzle boxes in the shell body by supporting the nozzle box through a telescopic loop to the shell.
CONSTITUTION: Two inlet tubes 2 are provided at the upper half of a turbine shell 1, and a flange coupling part 9 of reverse direction for coupling a steam supply tube to both the tubes 2 is provided. Nozzle boxes 6 of circular-arc shape of 180° are provided at the inside of the shell 1 under the tubes 2, and are controlled in the flowout steam quantity by a partition plate 18.
