PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of thickness, and to provide a rolling mill with controllability for a complicated sheet profile, by installing a bending adjusting roll between an upper work roll and an upper backup roll. CONSTITUTION:Both of end journals of work rolls 6, 7 are supported by double chocks consisting of an inner chock 8 and an outer chock 9; increase benders 12, 13 are respectively installed between inner chocks 8, 8 and between outer chocks 9, 9 of upper and lower work rolls 6, 7: and decrease benders 10, 11 are respectively installed between inner and outer chocks 8, 9 of work rolls 6, 7 and chocks 2, 3 of backup rolls 4, 5. One or more bending adjusting rolls 14 are installed between work rolls 6, 7 and backup rolls 4, 5. This bending adjusting roll 14 gives a large bending to work rolls 6, 7 and also gives then a delicately controlled bending deformation.
