PURPOSE:To know whether the control is normally carried out for both the primary and secondary high voltage outputs, by simulaneously display both the primary and secondary high voltages at a display means. Then the contrast potential, i.e., the difference between the bright part potential and the dark part potential of a drum 11 is calculated and displayed on a display device 61. Thus whether or not the normal control is carried out for boty the high voltage primary and secondary outputs can be known by looking at the contrast potential.
