Abstract
1288395 Electro-photographic processes RICOH K K 9 Sept 1969 [9 Sept 1968] 44478/69 Heading G2H Double-sided photo-conductive material 1 having photo-conductive layers 3 and 4 on an opaque support 2 of paper, plastics material or metal is uniformly charged on its upper side before imagewise exposure while the reverse side is illuminated through a transparent electrode 8 earthed through a layer 8a of copper to prevent charging of the reverse side or to discharge the reverse side if it has already been charged. The latent image formed on the layer 3 is developed and the material is inverted and the process is repeated. In another embodiment, Fig.3 (not shown) the reverse side is charged and exposed simultaneously.
