Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a toner, which retains both of the function of a photoreceptor and the function of a developer and provides a distinct image without causing any troubles due to harmfulness, in electro-photographing by applying the toner of photoconductivity, which consists of amorphous hydrogenated silicon powder having specific hydrogen content and specific mean particle diameter, to the technique for the electro-photography. CONSTITUTION:For a toner of photoconductivity applied to the technique for electro-photography, a material to be used is so prepared as to be made up of amorphous hydrogenated silicon powder, which is containing 10-70 atom % hydrogen and having 400-30,000Angstrom mean particle size. Thus, the toner, which retains both of the function of a photoreceptor and the function of a developer and is made to charge electricity easily even in itself and, also, has a practical sensitivity and, furthe, provides a distinct image without causing any trouble due to harmfulness, is obtained.
