Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate a false lead-in, by providing a tank circuit which extracts a Nyquist frequency from the output of an automatic equalizer and by discriminating the output of the tank circuit to reset the tap coefficient of the automatic equalizing circuit to the initial state. CONSTITUTION:A tank circuit 25, which extracts Nyquist frequency components from the output of an automatic equalizing circuit 22, and the first discriminating circuit 23 are connected to the output of the automatic equalizing circuit 22. The second discriminating circuit 26 is connected to the tank circuit 25. The first discriminating circuit 23 discriminates an output A of the automatic equalizing circuit by thresholds 0.5 and -0.5 to lead in stably the automatic equalizing circuit 22. Meanwhile, the tank circuit 25 extracts Nyquist frequency components of the output A of the automatic equalizing circuit 22. They are discriminated by the sencond discriminating circuit 26, and in case of false lead-in, a reset signal is outputted to rest the tap coeficient to the initial state. Thus, a false lead-in is prevented.
