Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent image on ordinary paper by using a developer obtained by mixing an electrostatic induction accelerator, made of low-resistance particles, into high-resistance magnetic toner. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 3 is installed at the distance of a development gap 4 from a developing sleeve 2 turning outside of a fixed magnet 1 in the developing sleeve. In the development gap 4, high-resistance magnetic toner (a) and low-resistance particles (b) are interposed so as to surround the (a) by the (b), thereby accellerating electrostatic induction. A developer containing the mixed (a) and (b) has high resistivity in a low electric field and low resistivity in a high electric field, so it is suitable for electrophotography requiring a high electric field at a development part and a low electirc field at a transfer part. Since the grain side of the (a) is greater thatn that of the (b), selective sticking to transfer paper occurs and a mixing ratio varies. To prevent those, the mixed toner sticking to the transfer paper or the photoreceptor and having the same ratio is supplemented to a developer supply tank.
