Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the red sensibility by forming the Te containing region of a photoconductive film containing Se, As, Te from the position of predetermined thickness of a transparent conductive film face while forming with three regions having different Te concentration. CONSTITUTION:When forming a photoconductive film containing Se, As, Te on the film face (b) of a light permeable conductive fiom (N) having predetermined thickness and provided on a light permeable insulation board (G), the starting end (a) of the Te containing region is set at the position departed more than 3,000Angstrom in the direction of the film thickness from a film face (b). The Te concentration in the first region (B) departed by 1.1-1.4mum in the direction of the thickness from the starting end (a) is made to be 15-30 atomic % while said concentration is reduced abruptly in the following second region (C) and it is made to 5-8 atomic % in the third region (D). Consequently the red sensibility can be improved more than same degree when compared with the conventional image pick-up tube employing the crystal photoconductive film.
