Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the flowing of abnormal currents through auxiliary winding by mounting a protective device responding to the currents of the auxiliary winding. CONSTITUTION:When a control switch 11 is closed and a power supply is made, the auxiliary winding 3 is conducted through a capacitor 5 for starting because a bimetal contact piece 7 contacts with the fixed contact a side. When the bimetal contact piece 7 generates heat and is deformed to a condition that contacts with the fixed contact 6 side, the auxiliary winding 3 is conducted through a capacitor 6 for operation. When overcurrents which cannot be detected by means of an overload protective relay 13 flow through the auxiliary winding 3 during operation, an overcurrent protective relay 15 is actuated, and condution to the auxiliary winding 3 is interrupted. Accordingly, the flowing of abnormal currents through the auxiliary winding can be prevented.
