Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve convenience and save power consumption by building a small-sized battery in the body of a speed gun to make it one piece with a power source and connecting a capacitor of large capacity in parallel with the battery. CONSTITUTION:When a measuring switch 2 or 12 is operated, a control circuit 20 radiates microwaves from a Doppler sensor 16. The relected waves from an object 15 are received in a Doppler sensor 16, and are inputted to an arithmetic circuit 18 via an amplifier circuit 17, and the moving speed of the object 15 is displayed in a display part 10. Upon lapse of a prescribed time after the switch 2 or 12 is operated, an automatic off circuit 25 operates, thereby interrupt the power supply from the battery 4 built in one piece in the speed gun. A capactor 27 of large capacity is connected in parallel with this battery 4, and load is connected to this parallel circuit via a power source switch part 26.
