Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the simple and precise measurement of the titled an angle even in case there is an obstacle at a bent part, by a method wherein a light axis is made to cross rectilinear parts at both sides of a bent part of a pipe, and angles of the light axis to the axial directions of the rectilinear parts are measured. CONSTITUTION:A light axis or the like is made to cross rectilinear parts 3 and 4 of the bent part of a pipe 1, and angles A and B of the light axis to the rectilinear parts 3 and 4, respectively, are measured to compute a desired bent angle C. For example, angle-measuring devies 5 and 6 are disposed on the upper surfaces of the rectilinear parts 3 and 4 at both sides of the bent part 2 of the large-calibred pipe 1, and laser ray is sent out to the angle-measuring device 6 at a receiving side from the angle-measuring device 5 at a transmitting side to measure said angles. The angles A and B are substracted from 180 deg.O' to compute the bent angle C.
