Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out the sample introduction automatically with a high reliability by discriminating right or wrong of movement of a sample receptacle, by dectecting a position of a nozzle through a detection board fixed on the axis of rotation of a crank ascending and descending the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A motor 1 is rotated through a control circuit 11 applied a detection signal from detectors 3, 4 of photointerrupter and a slider 6 is controlled at every one rotation of a crank 5 and then, a nozzle 8 is descended and ascended. Then, sample from a receptacle 9 of a turn table 10 is introduced into a photometer 12 automatically. Light transmitting holes 13, 14 are provided on the axis of rotation of this crank 5 and a detection board 2 having the difference of the surface level on the outer circumference formed by two pairs of large and small circular arcs having a different radius, is fixed and then, the upper and lower dead point of the crank 5 and its middle position, are detected by the detectors 3, 4.
