Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the outer diameter of a rotary secotor for miniaturizing a device by forming light-intercepting sector and a light-transmitting sector of specifice construction on a rotary cylindrical body rotating about an axis vertical to the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A rotary axis 40 of a rotary cylindrical body 31 is arranged perpendicularly to the neutral axis 3 of an irradiated light. The upper part 32 higher than the position of the height of the optical axis 3 of the rotary cylindrical body 31 is the pat interrupting the irradiated light directed to the reference cell, while the lower part 33 than the height of the optical axis 3 of the rotary cylindrical body 31 is the part to perform interruption of the irradiated light directed to the sample cell. The upper part 32 has a sector part 32a intercepting the irradiated light and the sector part 32b transmitting the irradiated light. The lower part has similarly the light intercepting sector part 33a and the light transmitting sector part 33b.
