Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to set the angle between the incident ray and the diffracted rays to a small one, by rotating the concave surface diffraction grating centering around the position shifted from the center, and performing the wavelength scanning, making the grating move forward, backward and translationally, as well. CONSTITUTION:When the concave surface diffraction grating G is connected with the arm rotating centering around the point O which has been shifted at nearly right angles with the line connecting the center of the grating G and the inlet slit S1, the grating G not only rotates but also moves forward, backward and translationally. Therefore, the incident rays from the fixed inlet slit S1 are scanned at every wavelength, the angle between the incident rays by the diffracted rays extending from long wavelength to short wavelength, to the fixed outlet slit S2, and the diffracted rays can be set to a small one, the astigmatism becomes small, and therefore the utilization rate of a light beams is elevated.
