Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a combustion heater, by combining a double-tubular heat exchanging pipe with a combustion heater or the like.
CONSTITUTION: An outer pipe 3 is disposed on the outside of an inner metal pipe 1 in the form of a double-tube structure, in the manner that the inner pipe 3 is supported securely in place by the outer end faces of many fins 2 which are projected radially from the outer surface of the inner metal pipe 1. One end of a space, formed between the outer surface of the inner pipe 1 and the inner surface of the outer pipe 3, is communicated to an inner space of a casing 17 incorporating therein a combustion heater 5 at a part around an exhaust port 6 of the combustion heater 5, while the other end of the space is connected to a ventilating duct 18. Further, a fan 19 is provided in the casing 17 for feeding hot air in the casing 17 into the room from an air outlet port 20. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to exchange heat efficiently and hence to make the structure of the apparatus compact.
