Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain a good dwelling environment and stabilize combustion, by utilizing a wind from a blower fan to cool a burner casing which is likely to overheat.
CONSTITUTION: A wind passage outside a heat exchanger 2 and a burner casing 3, which are vertically integrated with each other, is divided by a partition plate 5. The portion of the partition plate near a blowoff port 6 is corrugated at 7. A wind blown from a blower fan 4 is divided into two portions by the partition plate 5. One of the divided portions flows through the wind passage outside the heat exchanger 2 and the other portion flows through the wind passage outside the burner casing 3 to perform heat exchange and cool the burner casing at the same time. After the heat exchange and the cooling, both the wind portions are unified and mixed with each other and blown off through the blowoff port 6 to heat a room. As a result, the quantity of combustion is smoothly followed up, the combustion is kept stable and a hot wind of uniform temperature is generated even if the quantity of burning air fluctuates.
