Abstract

PURPOSE: To disperse various kinds of liquid medicines in a high-viscosity incubator wholly uniformly in a short time, by setting a blender for liquid medicines jetting a ventilating gas in a mist stage.
CONSTITUTION: Various kinds of liquid medicines which are fed from the tanks for liquid medicines 11, 12, and 13 for adding nutritive substances, e.g., carbon source, nitrogen source, inorganic salt, etc. or a liquid medicine, e.g., a pH adjustor, through the feeding lines 19, 20, and 21 to a culture solution contained in the culture tank 1 are introduced to the blenders for liquid medicines 14, 15, and 16 equipped in the middle of the ventilating gas line 17 through regulating valves. The liquid medicine is made in a mist state by introducing a ventilating gas, fed to the ventilating gas line 18 for blending liquid medicines as a jet flow mixed with the ventilating gas, and the liquid medicines together with the ventilating gas are fed through the sparger 2 to the culture solution in the culture tank 1.
