Abstract
PURPOSE: A microorganism in Brevibacterium or Corynebacterium, which resists a compound with vitamin P activity and produces the titled substance, is cultured to collect L-arginine.
CONSTITUTION: A microorganism in Brevibacterium or Corynebacterium, which resists a compound with vitamin P activity such as esculetin, acenocoumarin or rutin and produce V-arginine, such as Brevibacterium flavum (FERM-P5504) or Corynebacterium glutamicum (FERM-P5505) is aerobically cultured in a usual medium containing carbon source, nitrogen source and inorganic ions and L-arginine is collected from the culture mixture through the ion exchange resin process.
