Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable parallel operation control for a pump and a motor on the basis of flow rate loads by controlling the motor in response to a pressure signal in an output circuit of the pump, thereby eliminating a complicated piping work for equipping a flow rate relay in a piping.
CONSTITUTION: An increase of a flow rate required by a load causes a lack of a discharge from a pump 1A because a variable speed motor 2A cannot run over its maximum rotation speed. Associated with the lack, a pressure detector 7 reduces provides a reduced output with 0.5% or so of an error of a specific value preset by a pressure fixer 11. The error is amplified by an amplifier 12. When the output of the amplifier 12 exceeds a dead zone value of a deal zone element 16, a pressure regulator 17 receives the output signal. The regulator 17 provices an output whose intensity depends on said output signal to a speed control circuit 18, which makes a variable speed motor 2B run at a specific speed. The motor 2B performs parallel operation with the pump 1A to supply a load with its required amont of water. Aforementioned constitution eliminates the need for a flow rate detector and a complicated piping work.
