Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely perform speed control of an engine at low temperature in a device controlling a degree of throttle valve opening through operation of a motor, by applying a pulse of larger width to said motor at low temperature and returning the pulse to normal width after the valve opening to a prescribed degree of opening. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting an engine at low temperature when voltage of a battery is low, a driving motor 21 in a throttle actuator 7 is caused in suspicion not to operate by normal pulse width. Then from speed immediately after completion of explosion to objective speed, that is, till an idle detecting switch 20 is turned on, a pulse of width longer than normal is applied from a control module A to surely operate the actuator 7. After the idle detecting switch 20 is turned on, the pulse is returned to the normal width to perform speed feedback control. Said actuator 7, by rotating the motor 21, controls the opening of a throttle valve 13 through a reduction gear 19, throttle valve lever 14, etc.
