Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce the titled laminated sheet which has excellent electrical characteristics and punchability and exhibits lowered dimensional shrinkage, by a method wherein a base material treated with a specified resin soln. is treated with a flame-retarded phenolic resin soln., the resulting prepregs are laminated to each other, and the resulting laminate is heated and pressed.
CONSTITUTION: A methylol-substituted melamine and a methylol-substituted phenol are dissolved in a mixed solvent of an alcohol and water. To this soln. is added 10W20wt% flexible resin selected from a methylol-substituted alkylphenol having a 4W11C side chain. PVA having an MW of 500W2,500 and a polyester resin. A base material is impregnated with the resulting resin soln, and dried to obtain a base material contg. 5W25% resin. Then a phenolic resin soln. containing a flame retarder such as tribromophenol is deposited on the base material, which is then dried to obtain a prepreg. Then the prepregs are laminated to each other in a required number of sheets. The resulting laminate is heated and pressed.
